How to naturally improve cervical mucus

Bouncing Bean Product guide: Pre-Seed sperm friendly lubricant and FertilAid for woman fertility supplement

Cervical mucus is produced by your cervix. During ovulation, your cervical mucus change in consistency and becomes rich in electrolytes. These changes assist sperm to tolerate the normally acidic environment of the vagina and gets nourished by the fertile mucus. After menstruation, the acidity level rises again and the mucus consistency changes to a sticky, thick mucus.

Here are some natural ways to improve the consistency and increase your cervical mucus during ovulation:

  • Cervical mucus is made up of 90% water so drink at least 8 glasses of water per day to increase your cervical mucus.
  • Take Essential fatty acids like omega 3, 6 and 9. Examples are Evening Primrose Oil (EPO to be taken from menstruation until just after ovulation), fish oils and Borage seed oil. Essential fatty acids helps to regulate hormones, increase blood flow to the uterus and increase egg-white consistency of mucus which is needed to help sperm swim effectively through the mucus.
  • Herbal supplements. The herbs linked to increasing cervical mucus are Dandelion leaf and root (Taraxacum officinale), Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra), Marshmallow root (Althea officinalis), Oregon Grape root (Mahonia aquifolium, nervosa), Red Clover Blossom (Trifolium pratense), Shatavari root (Asparagus racemosus) and Yarrow (Achillia millefolium).
  • Use sperm friendly lubricant. Pre~Seed matches fertile cervical mucus and is safe to use when trying to get pregnant as it does not harm sperm. Developed by a woman sperm physiologist, it provides an optimal environment for sperm.
